Maintenance Tips

For the maintenance of GICALLA’S concrete mixers, user collaboration is essential. In addition to machine conservation and cleaning, the user should:

  • General greasing of rollers, elevating screw, channels, and pivot supports: every 50 hours of work.

  • First oil change for the gearbox and hydraulic system: every 250 hours of work.

  • Maintenance oil change for the gearbox and hydraulic system: at 2,500 hours of work.

  • Our gearboxes use SAE 90 oil.

  • The hydraulic system (pump-motor) is maintained with SAE 10 oil or equivalent.

  • It should be noted, as a rule, that with each oil change, it is equally essential to change the filter of the hydraulic system.
